According to TMZ, Adefeso filed a “domestic violence” restraining order against 43-year-old reality star at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 8. The details surrounding the restraining order have not been revealed yet.
This comes weeks after Tamar Braxton posted a lengthy Instagram tribute to thank David Adefeso for “saving her life” last month after she was hospitalized following a suicide attempt.
The court has yet to approve his request, but it’s a possible sign that their relationship has taken a turn in recent weeks.
David was the one who called 911 after finding Tamar “unresponsive” at The Ritz-Carlton Residences in downtown Los Angeles after an apparent suicide attempt on July 16. He told cops she may have overdosed on pills and alcohol. She had reportedly been frustrated with how she was being portrayed on her upcoming WE TV reality show “Get Ya Life!”
Family sources tell TMZ that Tamar Braxton has changed since she started dating David Adefeso and “her mood seems to align with his.” David has reportedly been heavily involved in Tamar’s reality show, as well as her business decisions.
