Rapper Olamide gets ready to shake the world with his new international music deal.
The international fame quest begins for the Nigerian revered rapper, as he officially partners with Empire music distribution, recordings and publishing company.
The indigenous music pathfinder has been criticized by a lot of Nigerian fans a long time from now for not making efforts to go international like his pals in the game such as Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage and many more. (Like Wande Coal, who just did too!).
Apparently, he dropped his latest album ‘999‘ with the signage on the international record label. The joint venture deal according to Olamide will also cover the distribution of Fireboy’s music and other new acts that would be signed to YBNL.
The YBNL boss shared the new development via his Instagram page as he signed his contract papers and shock hands with the Empire executives. He added a little caption ‘…time to shake the world‘.
“Happy to announce that YBNL and Empire got a joint venture deal. Myself and Fireboy with any other act i sign next ready to shake the world.”
