Jay-Z Launches His Own Cannabis Brand

‘Monogram’ aims to “redefine” what cannabis means to today’s consumers.

Just like Drake, and other enterprising superstars, JAY-Z ventures into cannabis business.

On Friday (Oct. 23), the rap mogul announced the launch of his new cannabis brand, MONAGRAM.

The new line will be distributed through cannabis company Caliva, whom Mr. Carter partnered with as the Chief Brand Strategist in July 2019.

“With its careful strain selection, meticulous cultivation practices and uncompromising quality, MONOGRAM seeks to redefine what cannabis means to consumers today”, said in the press release.

It adds, “In an effort to provide a more tailored customer experience, the brand will also launch through a best in class e-commerce platform dedicated exclusively to its singular product line”.

Cannabis brand, MONOGRAM is the latest business venture of Jay-Z, which includes his entertainment company Roc Nation, Armand de Brignac champagne, D’USSÉ cognac, and streaming service, TIDAL.
