Nigerian singers in the likes of Runtown, Falz, Tiwa Savage and more have come out to put an end to sars as they protest against police brutality in the country as promised.
A few days ago, Runtown announced via his Twitter page that he would be leading a protest in Lagos to call for the disbandment of the SARS officials who have continued to kill and brutalize Nigerian youths.
Falz who appears to be irate about the government’s response to the recent killings took to his social media page to reveal that he would be joining the end sars protest along with fellow singer Runtown.
The protest started this morning at 10AM which was led by Falz, Runtown alongside several concerned Nigerians, as well as celebrities, joined in the protest. Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa, Rudeboy, DJ Spinall, WurlD, and many more have been spotted at the ongoing protest.
They have been commended by Nigerians for their bravery and actions in comparison to other artists who only protested on social media, alongside those who only raised false hopes about leading a protest on the 6th of October, only to back out the day of the protest.
