Music Video: Ashanti – “235 (2:35 I Want You)”

Ashanti makes an epic return with her new sultry single plus a seductive video, “235 (2:35 I Want You)”.

On the bedroom banger, the R&B princess belts her sultry vocals over a piano-laced instrumental. “‘Cause ooh, my body beggin’ for you / Ain’t no mistake, you the truth / And I can’t wait till we ooh, we ooh,” she sings.

She tosses and turns over a missed lover and yearns for his presence in the wee hours of the morning.

In the seductive clip, she pulls up to her man’s house at 2:35 a.m. with nothing but lingerie underneath her trench coat. She heads upstairs to the bedroom and undresses before making love to him under the moonlight. She then changes into a glittery bra and panties and puts on a show just for her man.

This marks Ashanti’s first solo release since 2019’s “Pretty Little Thing” featuring Afro B.
