It was a Cardi B takeover during last night’s American Music Awards 2018. Leading the ceremony with the most nods, Cardi brought her culture by turning L.A. Microsoft Theater into the Bardi Gang Social Club with her stunning performance of “I Like It” with J Balvin and Bad Bunny.

The Bronx rapper took home the Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist, Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Song (“Bodak Yellow“) and Favorite Soul/R&B Song (“Finesse (Remix)“).

Post Malone was also on hand and delivered a fiery performance with Ty Dolla $ign for “Psycho” followed by “Better Now“. He walked away with two awards including Favorite Pop/Rock Artist and Favorite Hip Hop Album (Beerbongs & Bentleys).

Meanwhile, Ciara took things up to another level and brought out Missy Elliott for their “Level Up(Remix)“. This year’s Favorite Male Soul/R&B Artist Khalid took it to the “Eastside” with Benny Blanco and Halsey for their performance and Ella Mai interacted with the audience for the fan favorite, “Boo’d Up.”

Other big wins throughout the evening included Migos (Favorite Duo or Group – Pop/Rock), Rihanna (Favorite Female Soul/R&B Artist), Black Panther (Favorite Soundtrack), XXXTentacion’s 17 (Favorite Album – Soul/R&B), and Young Thug who grabbed Favorite Music Video, Favorite Song – Pop/Rock and Collaboration of the Year thanks to Camila Cabello’s “Havana“.  Watch American Music Awards 2018 performances below.
