#Coronavirus: Rudeboy reacts to artistes doing Giveaways on social media

“The People Who Need Help Are Not On Social Media” he advises.

Rudeboy has a message for Nigerian artistes who are presently sharing cash on social media to fans.

Whose motive are to assist those who are unable to stock up towards the market shut down.

Some artistes like Runtown, Peruzzi, Yemi Alade amongst several other notable stars recently took to social media (especially on Twitter) to give money to people who lack funds to buy what they need to survive during the shutdown due to COVID -19 pandemic, and so far its been going on good.

However, the ‘Audio Money’ singer seems to have a different view of how things are being done on social media. He said majority of the fans on social media are not the right people to give money to. “They don’t know what’s data” he said.

Don Jazzy too stated that he was in tears today seeing the number of Nigerians that have flooded his social media handles, dropping their account numbers as they request for financial assistance during this trying times.

In a post shared on his Twitter handle, he wrote;

I swear scrolling tru my mentions just gets me so sad. I’m in real tears. Account numbers everywhere. And I cant blame them becos if they have enough they won’t ask.

This is not even a tweet to bash the govt. How can our lives be better?? Where do we start from?

And to me, he seemed to be kinda right. Do You Agree With Rudeboy On This One?
