Burna Boy Leads Apple Music’s Sub-Saharan Africa Most-Streamed List

Apple Music unveils Top 10 most streamed songs of 2019 in Sub-Saharan Africa!

African Giant singer, Burna Boy dominates the chart again as he tops Apple Music’s Sub-Saharan Africa most-streamed list.

The digital streaming giant on November 3rd, 2019 sent results of the most-streamed songs in Africa to its partners. There are two lists: the most played songs in Sub-Saharan Africa and in South Africa.

The Grammy-nominated Afro Fusion act led the chart with five songs in the top ten, and followed by Rema’s Dumebi, Joeboy’s Baby, Wizkid’s Brown Skin Girl, Davido’s Blow My Mind, and Kizz Daniel’s One Ticket.

While the latter mostly features songs from international artistes, Nigerian stars dominated and commanded streams from Sub-Saharan Africa (that is, African countries that lie south of the Sahara. Practically all African countries, North African’s.)

Burna Boy reacted to the good news.
