The present ‘African Giant’ singer got the inspiration of this track from the Queen & Slim’s most recent project, “Queen & Slim: The Soundtrack” album, in which he sample the [King of Afro Music Baba70] Fela Kuti’s 1972 song “Shakara”.

The track is a soundtrack off the movie Queen & Slim, an upcoming 2019 American romantic thriller film directed by Melina Matsoukas (in her feature directorial debut) and with a screenplay by Lena Waithe from a story by James Frey and Waithe. The film stars Daniel Kaluuya, Jodie Turner-Smith, Bokeem Woodbine, Chloë Sevigny, Flea, Sturgill Simpson.

Meanwhile, the 16-track soundtrack features 11 original songs that span several genres from various international artists like Lauryn Hill, Megan Thee Stallion, Blood Orange, Bilal, Raphael Saadiq, Vince Staples, Earth Gang and others.
