Pah Poh which was last week number two (2) now is come number five (5) this week. With the fire cracker party jam “pah poh” song is one of every Nigerian dancer’s favorite songs to rock to. Thumbs up for Kizz on this beautiful joint.
4. Teni – “Billionaire”
Teni’s new song ‘Billionaire is just gaining momentum as its still fresh out of the oven. Makanaki dropped her EP album this week and its undoubtedly packed with dope tracks, of which Billionaire is one of them. The entertainer surely knows how to crawl into fans’ playlist anytime any day.
The DMW star diss track, which was a bonus track of last week is now the third this week. The controversial song which was targeted at Davolee and Blagbonez ended up bashing more than 10 different Nigerian rappers. We all know diss tracks don’t stay long in the charts as their reigns are always short. The song is gradually fading away off listeners’ minds, but will definitely be recorded in Nigeria’s diss rap history.
2. Chris Brown ft Davido – “Lower Body”
Davido and Chris Brown’s “Lower Body” went viral upon its release and its no doubt taking the space of “Blow my mind”. The track is number one off Chris’ newly released Extended “Indigo Album”, which is topping charts both home abroad. The song is indeed here to stay for a while on fans’ lips.
Kizz songs are sometimes controversial too like other prominent Nigerian stars. On “Pak N Go”, Kizz Daniel empowers abused and underappreciated lovers urging them to leave unhealthy relationships as he sings the ear-worm melody, “…If you buy am Okrika, and she say she want the Gucci, Pak N Go…”
The afrobeat song is already ruling the radio airwaves been play-listed on BBC 1xtra Radio, The Beat FM, Soundcity Radio, Naija FM to name a few; is a massive liberation Afro-pop anthem and dubbed a potential the “song of the year” by music critics and industry experts.
This week’s bonus track is Vector’s new diss track aimed at M.I Abaga, which is dubbed Judas The Rat. The song broke Nigerian internet shortly after its release in the early hours of today, and its been trending all over the social media. The track is laced with heavy clap-back lyrics and a must-listen to for the Nigerian hip-hop community.
