Cassper Nyovest Confesses Love for Nigerians Pushing Afrobeats to the World

‘I wish I was from Nigeria’ – Nigeria has all the genres we have but they push Afrobeats.

Award-winning South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter last night, July 29, 2019, to praise the way Nigerians both at home and in diaspora push Afrobeat(s) and their music culture all around the world.

The 28-year-old hip hop star whose real name is Refiloe Maele Phoolo was replying to a tweet when he made the comment.

Afrobeat(s) has greatly soared over the pass few years and the South African rapper wished he was part of the movement. He commended how much local content (music) is played in the Nigerian airwaves both on radio and television.

Cassper Nyovest about a week ago hailed Wizkid for a stellar performance on ‘Brown Skin Girl’. He anticipates that would be Wizkid’s next Billboard charter.
