Lara and The Beat – The movie promises to be an exciting and thrilling movie as it is a mixture of music ,fashion , romance and comedy. Singer Seyi Shay plays Giwa , the lead role alongside rapper ,Vector

‘Lara and the Beat’ is inspired by some of the stories we grew up hearing in Nigeria, One day you’re rich and in an instance, you could lose everything.

The coming of age movie about the young and beautiful Giwa sisters caught in the center of a financial scandal with their late parents’ media empire.As the Giwa sister Lara and Dara are removed from their mansion following the allegation of tax fraud levelled against their father’s company.The sisters were forced out of their privileged bubble, and must learn to build their own future and salvage their family’s past.

This movie also tells the story of hard work and the fact that we all have civic responsibilities and knowing there are consequences for not performing them even if it is out of ignorance and tells a love story between Lara (a role played by seyi shey and Sal (a.ka The Beat), a role plays by Vector

Aside acting in the movie, Seyi Shay and Vector reel out songs like I like It and Gidi Life, Rampage Recordings artiste Myro features on the soundtrack too, including Ogranya Jable Osai, CLL, and Soti.

Aside the original soundtrack, other songs were sourced from Ajebutter 22 , Adey , Tomi Owo , Show Dem Camp , Zirra (formerly Timmy T) , and Lady Donli.

Towards the end of the movie , music literally prevails and saves the day
