Popular Barbadian singer Robyn Rihanna Fenty has confirmed that she is currently in the studio working on a new album – a follow-up to her latest album ANTI.
The pop star made this known when she appeared on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, June 15, to promote Ocean’s 8 with her fellow co-stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson and Helena Bonham Carter.
When Norton asked if there was a possibility of new music, Rihanna replied jokingly:
“Who sent you? I know one of my fans got to you!”
I’m actually in the studio at the moment,” she then revealed.
Norton then prodded for any further information, particularly a release date. “You’ll just have to wait and see,” she teased.

Bear in mind that in May, it was revealed that the ‘Umbrella’ icon’s next record would be reggae-influenced, with new material said to have been inspired by Bob Marley and influential producer Supa Dups.
Vogue writer Chioma Nnandi said during a cover feature with Rihanna: “She plans to make a reggae album.”
The disclosure came at a time when MediaTakeOut claimed that she may have ended her relationship of over one year with her Saudi billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel.
