Wizkid who will become the first Africa artist to perform in the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony slated for today, June 14, 2018, has put the majority in suspense. But earlier today, he took to his Twitter page to reply a fan he won’t be performing, but wishes the Super Eagles good luck.

A large percentage of Nigerian are still finding it hard to forgive him or to trust him again after he openly disappointed them and trashed their hopes by shunning the last Coachella.

He had been scheduled to perform alongside Beyonce and other top stars but backed out at the last minute, citing visa issues.

Different Nigerian artistes had complained about visa issues, Reekado Banks once regarded it as ’useless’

Nigerians have chosen to be pessimistic and skeptical since news broke out that the Starboy would be performing at the opening ceremony of Russia 2018 and the reason is not far fetched.

With tweets and comments, many fans of Wizkid have reacted to the news while opening asking Wizkid if he had sorted his visa issues!

Others out rightly stated that “Wizkid will disappoint again, he will have visa problems” they said.

However, many others have chosen to remain optimistic and hope that Wizkid will pull it through this time!
