Diddy, Nas, and other notable hiphop moguls have certified Pusha T’s new album – Daytona.

The controversial album cover. The New York listening session filled to the hilt with heavy hitters. These factors and some not favorable (see: Kanye West’s “Slavery is a choice” comments) have led to us injecting this new Pusha T into our bloodstreams. Daytona, which was originally believed to King Push, became available after midnight on all streaming platform and was completely produced by Kanye West.

The Virginia d-boy’s third solo studio album follows his 2015 effort, King Push — Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude, and features him in rare form. Standout songs such as “Santeria,” “What Would Meek Do,” and “Infrared,” a not-so-subtle right hook from Push to OVO’s own franchise player, Drake, find the former Clipse MC delivering seven tracks worth of braggadocio bars over some deftly crafted beats.

With no singles released, previews, or announcements, Daytona was mostly kept under wraps, even after Kanye announced its release date on Twitter last month amid a flurry of newly scheduled albums from his label. Guest appearances from Kanye and Rick Ross make Daytona the first release of a series of slated G.O.O.D. Music albums which will roll out in the next few weeks.

Up next, a joint project between Kanye and Kid Cudi, as well as solo records from Nas and Teyana Taylor.
