Cardi B recently dropped a new single called “Be Careful”—a track about infidelity in a relationship.
Given the rumor mill surrounding her relationship with Migos’ Offset, it was widely believed that the song was about him. In a new Beats 1 interview with Ebro Darden (airing in full at midnight).
Cardi was asked directly if it’s about her fiancé.
“No, I wasn’t talkin’ about Offset, I was just talkin’ about things I relate to and that have happened to me,” she responded. “First of all, I heard the record before I even was in love with Offset like that.”
