The 2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is going to be one hell of a magic moment as Snoop Dogg, and his early childhood music protege – Dr. Dre have both signed on to perform in honour of their Death Row label-mate and inductee Tupac Shakur.
According to TMZ, Snoop Lion jumped at the chance to lead a group of West Coast rappers in paying tribute to 2Pac.
Dr. Dre’s has been asked to join the ceremony as well and he’s close to signing on.
The performance is set to feature a mix of at least 3 songs performed by Snoop, Dre and company … and “California Love” is definitely on the setlist.
This year’s ceremony will take place on April 7 at the Barclays Center. 2Pac Shakur will be the first solo rap act to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
